So you’ve decided to go to the Dales but how do you get there?

Public transport is the most environmentally friendly way to travel. Did you know one full bus can take around 35 cars off the road! And you get to see much more along the way!

Trains run regularly towards the Yorkshire Dales from Leeds and Bradford getting you direct to Ilkley, the Dales towns of Skipton and Settle and pretty villages such as Giggleswick and Clapham.

The DalesBus network also provides buses from West Yorkshire direct into the Yorkshire Dales. Most of these buses run on Summer Sundays and Bank Holidays only, but there are also a few buses on Winter Sundays and on weekdays during the summer school holidays.
